Improving Life ... One Step at a Time! NLPNeuro-Linguistic Programming is an age-old art of communication skills. With the correct application we can take control of our mental and emotional resources. This allows us to tap into the power of positive thinking, change any behaviour in ourselves and others and to approach life by removing the obstacles in all areas that in the past have held us back, so being driven by the attitude and spirit for creating our own reality. In short, becoming a self-confident and efficient communicator to ourselves and others. Time Line Therapy™ Time Line Therapy™ allows you to gain emotional control over your life. We are programmed in acting and reacting in certain ways from the moment we are born and this can be limiting in our belief that we can change. How often have you heard someone say "I'm not good enough", "I don't deserve a great life” or “I’ll never be able to achieve that”? We can be subjected to inappropriate emotional reactions, such as bursts of anger, apathy, anxiety, depression, chronic fear and sadness, which can be responsible for preventing people from achieving the quality of life they desire. Your "Time Line" is how you store your memories or how you unconsciously know the difference between the past and a projection of the future. Time Line allows you to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change "inappropriate" programming in minutes rather than days, months or years. Visualisation and Mental Imagery Visualisation involves the creation of real or unreal images in the mind's eye. It is used to refer to visual images, images of sound, movement, touch, taste and smell. Mental imagery resembles perceptual experience, but occurs in the absence of the appropriate external stimuli. It is also generally understood to bear intentionality (i.e., mental images are always images of something or other), and thereby to function as a form of mental representation of discovering what we do want rather than what we don’t want by practicing (by imgagining and visualising) the desired outcome. (E.g. for someone stopping smoking … they will learn how to see themselves as a non-smoker instead of an ex-smoker denying themselves a treat. If you have never had a cigarette … it is not even a thought process that you can not or will not have one … there is no thought about it at all). Very often, imagery experiences are understood by their subjects as echoes, copies, or reconstructions of actual perceptual experiences from their past; at other times they may seem to anticipate possible, often desired or feared, future experiences. Thus imagery has a large part to play in achieving results, (good or bad) and even a pivotal role in both memory and motivation. Visualisation and imagery play a crucial role in all thought processes, and with the correct learning’s can provide us with the ability to build our lives around the powerful images of self belief and achievement, so attaining our goals. Emotional Intelligence and Change DynamicsEI is our unique potential for emotional sensitivity, emotional memory, emotional processing and emotional learning ability. It is what distinguishes between thoughts and feelings. EI refers to the capacity for recognising our own feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, and for managing emotions in us and in our relationships. EI describes abilities distinct from, but complementary to, academic intelligence or the purely cognitive capacities measured by IQ. In short, E plus R = O The Event plus your Response will equal the Outcome. Taking responsibility for your emotions. Find Your Uniqueness (FYU)Trying to figure out what makes you unique and different isn't easy. When you understand yourself, it becomes much easier to find or create the circumstances to make yourself happy. When a leader in an organisation has an in-depth understanding about the people on their team, it becomes easier to build on strengths. Armed with the knowledge of what makes you or your organisation unique, you can develop a plan that leverages, and then communicates, how you are different. HypnotherapyHypnosis is a relaxed state of consciousness, which allows us to access the part of the mind we use for learning and storing information. It is often understood to be similar to the relaxed state we are in just before sleep or on awakening. It can sometimes be called trance, and is useful when used for learning, coaching and training. It can produce dramatic results quickly easily and effectively while remaining in a state of complete awareness. If you have ever driven your car and arrived at your destination without realising how you got there, maybe even passing turnings or going over roundabouts, or simply day dreamed, then you have experienced this altered state we call hypnosis. It is a place of total awareness and focus, which allows the mind to filter the information it needs so it can put it into practise with immediate effect. The Belief Cycle (TBC) Certain beliefs (false beliefs, half-truths, or lies people believe) drive and maintain even the addictive process. TBC is a lie versus truth modality. With TBC, identifying a false belief, replacing it with the truth and appropriating the truth will progressively (and sometimes immediately) free a person. The therapy of belief possesses the most powerful healing value known to man. And can turn the battlefield of the mind into ‘I Cans’ instead of I Can’ts. Individuals to all the members of a family could benefit. The reason is that The Belief Cycle enables a person to begin immediately reversing the negative core beliefs and begin developing the positive core beliefs necessary to solve the unacceptable behaviours. TBC guides your thoughts, redesigning your present belief system, to allow you to receive the prosperity due you. This Belief Cycle may be applied in every area of your lives. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) EFT is the psychological acupressure finger tapping technique used to improve personal performance in academics, business and sports by removing anxiety, doubt and negative self-talk. Many have had very positive experiences with EFT in the treatment of fears and phobias, anxiety, and traumatic memories. It has also been seen to be extremely advantageous throughout the frustrations of breaking habits such as smoking or binge eating. What is even more amazing is that for most problems, the treatment is permanent! People have even been helped over the phone, because this is a type of "therapy" you can perform on yourself. Mind MappingMind Mapping enables individuals and organisations to develop ideas, compile information in context, and quickly act on that information to improve projects and processes. It is a powerful graphic technique, which provides a universal key to unlock the potential of the brain. It harnesses the full range of cortical skills – word, image, number, logic, rhythm, colour and spatial awareness – in a single, uniquely powerful manner. In so doing, it gives you the freedom to roam the infinite expanses of your brain. The Mind Map can be applied to every aspect of life where improved learning and clearer thinking will enhance human performance. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)As thoughts are stipulated as being the cause of emotions cognitive therapy reverses the fundamental order so identifying irrational thoughts that are making one unhappy and what it is about them that is irrational; this is done in an effort to reject the unwanted or depressing thoughts or behaviour and replace them with more accurate, but also more cheering thoughts and behaviour. CBT is a simple way of learning to recognise when and where our thought processes are going awry, and to replace an invalid thought with a more suitable one. With a good consultant cognitive therapy can be a valuable tool in recovery from a multitude of unwanted behaviour, thoughts and life challenges. Effective ThinkingWhile positive thinking allows your mind to accept new ideas and creative thoughts, Effective Thinking involves directing your thoughts toward specific goals Be more valuable, personally, socially and within your organisation Be more effective at handling day-to-day issues that arise. Develop a focused and logical approach to the way you personally manage your life, at home, work and socially Develop problem solving skills and the ability to find real win-win solutions Develop a plan to achieve a deliverable or ambitious target within an organisation, passing exams, public speaking, sports enhancement or changing unwanted behaviours. Maximise Your MemoryThis is a simple, but powerful course to guide you to maximise your memory power and achieve many benefits that previously you may have found frustrating. Memory underpins every thought we have and everything we have learned, from how we walk and talk, through to recognising our favourite movie stars in a magazine. Most of us take memory for granted until the point when it fails and we forget something. Sensory memory is the direct pathway to the mind. It is the impression that new information makes on the mind and lasts for only a fraction of a second before fading forever. Imagine if you remembered absolutely everything that you saw or heard? You would soon be overwhelmed with too much information. Luckily, we only remember things that grab our attention and get processed in working memory. Remember facts, figures and information accurately. Rremember the structure of information. Memory Improvement Games.
